'Severe' damage to a gas main outside Old Trafford has been fixed in time for Manchester United's game on Saturday.

Engineers were called to a gas leak on Monday.

Dan Young, repair team leader for Cadent, said: “There was a lot of gas coming from this damaged main and to fix it and be off site within a few days is really good going.
