Gary Neville believes Ole Gunnar Solskjaer did not want to make radical changes to Manchester United's squad during the summer transfer window - and that is why more senior players have not left the club.

"You know, losing Herrera, losing Fellaini, getting Lukaku out of the club.

Marouane Fellaini departed in February and Antonio Valencia, Ander Herrera and Romelu Lukaku have all left over the summer, but there are players that remain in the squad who do not fit in with Solskjaer's long-term vision.

Discussing the departures of Fellaini, Lukaku and Herrera, Neville told Sky Sports: "I don’t feel like we’ve lost anything.

However, Neville doesn't feel as though an extensive overhaul this summer would've been beneficial to United.
