Former Manchester United forward Giuseppe Rossi has laughed at reports that he has returned to the club as a coach.

Rossi, who is currently without a club, has been spotted back at the training ground with reports claiming that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had brought him in as part of his coaching staff.

The 31-year-old left United in 2007 when he signed for Villareal having made 14 first team appearances under Sir Alex Ferguson and he's now back at Carrington.

And it's not just Rossi who's been spotted at the training ground recently either, Sir Alex Ferguson has also been back to Carrington since Solskjaer took over.

It is understood that Rossi is back at the club but not as a coach and instead he is there to train and build on his fitness as he looks for a new club.

The 31-year-old was released by Genoa in the summer and Solskjaer, who played with the forward before he left the club in 2007, has allowed him to train at Carrington.

However, his girlfriend shut down reports with a tweet which he then replied to with: "Hahahaha, me a coach?"
