Manchester United were unable to repeat the heroics from their win against Paris Saint-Germain as they travelled to Barcelona on Tuesday night.

Barcelona have now been slashed into 7/4 favourites with Liverpool at 11/4 while Man City can be backed at 10/3 ahead of their home game against Spurs on Wednesday.

They will play the winners of the game between Man City and Spurs tomorrow.

The latest Champions League odds have now been updated following tonight's result with Barca moving into strong favourites to lift the trophy in Madrid next month.

United were 1-0 down from the first leg and soon saw the tie slipping away as Lionel Messi fired home after 16 minutes.

The Dutch side had previously defeated Real Madrid in the last round and they dumped out Juve with a 2-1 away victory to reach the semis.

Things went from bad to worse for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side as David De Gea allowed Messi's shot to slip under his body to make it 2-0 at half-time.
