Manchester United fans have sent their best wishes to Timothy Fosu Mensah after he completed his transfer to Bayer Leverkusen.

MEN Sport reported on Monday that a deal £1.5million deal was close to being agreed between the two parties and Fosu-Mensah has now been unveiled as an official Bayer Leverkusen player.

The right-back rejected a new contract at Old Trafford earlier this season and with six months left on his current deal, he has moved to the Bundesliga.

"It might be end of January or in the summer where he finds somewhere else, he’s working hard so he’s ready for a move for any club he feels ready for."
