Marcus Rashford does not have the anticipation to be goalscoring centre-forward for a club like Manchester United, claims ex-England striker Darren Bent.

Following the departure of Romelu Lukaku in the summer, a lot rests on the shoulders of Rashford to weigh in with his share of goals.

Bent believes manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can teach Rashford the positions he needs to take up.

"Ole Gunnar Solskjaer did score a lot of goals himself so he knows the positions to take up to score goals," Bent said on talkSPORT. "That you can teach to someone, you can say to them 'well listen, when the ball's here, make sure you get yourself around this area'."

Bent says Lukaku - who left United for Inter Milan last month - has that anticipation but Rashford does not.

"You can see, the way he plays the game, he wants to score goals."

"I just worry that if Marcus Rashford wants to go and play centre-forward for Manchester United Football Club, he's at a club that are renowned for having very, very good centre-forwards, great centre-forwards."
