Paul Pogba has been named Manchester United captain for the FA Cup quarter-final at Wolves, in the same season that Jose Mourinho declared he would not captain the club again.

So when Pogba was named captain against Wolves - the same team that were at the centre of his dispute with Mourinho - United fans were all making the same point against Mourinho.

The height of the disagreement came when Pogba told the press that United should 'attack, attack, attack' after the home draw against Wolves in the league.

Mourinho later stripped Pogba of the captaincy before the Carabao Cup defeat to Derby.

The manager was then further riled by a video of Pogba laughing as United were beaten by Derby, despite the video being taken when United were ahead.

Mourinho had struggled to keep control of the dressing room, and a high-profile falling out with Pogba plagued his attempts to get United into the top four.

Pogba started at Molineux as he looks to continue his fine form under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who replaced Mourinho in December and has transformed United's season.
