Manchester United legend Gary Neville has finally broken his silence on Liverpool’s Premier League title triumph.

Jurgen Klopp’s side, who are 23 points clear at the top of the table, were crowned champions last week after Chelsea defeated Manchester City.

Neville admits he ‘never wanted to see’ Liverpool win the Premier League again after their dominance during his childhood but has congratulated the Reds and Jurgen Klopp over their ‘incredible achievement’.

Finally addressing Liverpool’s title win, Neville told Sky Sports: ‘Look, it’s an incredible achievement to win the title.

‘It’s been coming for a couple of years, they’ve been knocking on the door. The job Jurgen Klopp has done has been fantastic.

‘I thought when he came to Liverpool that it would be almost impossible for him to deliver a title, given the spending power of Manchester United, Man City and Chelsea.

‘But he’s turned £30m players into £130m players and £75m players into £150m players and those other clubs have turned £130m players into £30m players.

“I had to watch the video a few times to realise how many of you lot work in this company!” ð???

‘It’s a day I never wanted to see again but you have to congratulate the title winners.’
