Ander Herrera has mixed feelings about Manchester United's defeat by Wolves in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup because he reached a personal milestone by playing in the match.

Speaking after the defeat by Wolves, Solskjaer said United will bounce back after the international break.

United were soundly beaten at Molineux as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer suffered the first irreversible defeat of his time in charge of the club.

"We're ready to go again after internationals," Solskjaer replied when asked what his message would be to United fans after back-to-back defeats.

Nearly half of Herrera's 400 career appearances have come in United red.

Solskjaer had previously presided over losses to PSG in the Champions League and Arsenal in the Premier League but United went on to progress in Europe and they also remain in a strong position in the hunt for a top-four spot.

Herrera struggled on his comeback appearance after almost a month out with a hamstring injury and he took to Instagram on Sunday morning to address the defeat.
