Alexis Sanchez has returned to action for Manchester United, and he has a new nickname to go along with it.

Ahead of the quarter-final second leg Sanchez uploaded a picture of himself in training to which Ander Herrera replied 'El Chapo', in reference to notorious Mexican criminal Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman, who himself is famous for having a similar moustache.

The 30-year-old marked his return for United on Tuesday night when he came on as a substitute during their Champions League exit at the hands of Barcelona.

Sanchez returned to the squad following a six-week lay-off and there was immediately something noticeably different about him, a new handlebar moustache.

During his absence the Chile international has grown some new facial hair, and as expected his club teammates have taken the opportunity to adopt a new nickname for him.

Many big games have come, and still Sanchez has failed to deliver.

On the back of his latest injury lay-off the former Arsenal forward returned to the squad for United's Champions League second-leg against Barcelona on Tuesday night.
