Manchester United players have reported for training ahead of the restart of the Europa League next week.

United players were given five days off following their final day Premier League win at Leicester and host LASK Linz in the round-of-16 second leg on Wednesday.

"We'll give some time off, they need mental and physical time away from the place, because the effort has been fantastic, so recharge batteries for a few days and then go again," Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said last week.

"We've got LASK and a 5-0 lead, so we don't have to go in that game chasing a two or three-goal win. We just want a good performance and hopefully that will be enough to get into the quarters.

"But a few days off, definitely."

Victor Lindelof, Fred, Scott McTominay, Odion Ighalo, and Nemanja Matic were among the United players who travelled abroad. Luke Shaw reported at the club's Carrington training complex to continue his recovery from a swollen ankle but has been ruled out of the Europa League knockout stages.

Bruno Fernandes and Harry Maguire, who both started in all 11 domestic matches after the restart, also turned up at Carrington.

United hold a 5-0 aggregate lead over LASK and will almost certainly face Copenhagen or Basaksehir in the quarter-finals in Germany on August 10. If United reach the semi-finals they will take on Olympiakos, Wolves, Sevilla or Roma.

Turkish side Basaksehir are 1-0 up going into their return leg at Copenhagen, who beat United in the Champions League group stage in 2006.

The Europa League draw kept United separate from Inter Milan, who signed Romelu Lukaku and Ashley Young from United this season and still have Alexis Sanchez on loan.

All of United's knockout ties will be staged in Cologne, including the final.

United players seen reporting at Carrington:

David de Gea, Sergio Romero, Lee Grant, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Diogo Dalot, Ethan Laird, Timothy Fosu-Mensah, Teden Mengi, Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, Eric Bailly, Luke Shaw, Brandon Williams, Fred, Nemanja Matic, James Garner, Paul Pogba, Bruno Fernandes, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Daniel James, Tahith Chong, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Odion Ighalo, Mason Greenwood
