Manchester United will have to overcome their own poor form and an injury crisis if they're to beat a good looking Leicester City at Old Trafford on Saturday.

In midfield Solskjaer hinted that he could bring in the experienced Nemanja Matic and Juan Mata alongside McTominay, while Andreas Pereira and Mason Greenwood will be competing to start in the front three alongside James and Rashford.

United are without some key players, including Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba, for the clash with the Foxes, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer revealed in his press conference on Friday morning.

So we don’t really know who’s going to be available there’s maybe Aaron (Wan-Bissaka), maybe Jesse (Lingard) and I think maybe that’s it from the ones that pulled out but I can’t promise those two will be available either.

On confirming the injury absences, Solskjaer said: "Well treatment room’s been busy and still is.

James has been in excellent goal-scoring form on the left-wing, while Rashford will continue through the middle in Martial's absence.

In terms of the team to face Leicester, David de Gea, Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, Scott McTominay, Marcus Rashford and Daniel James should all keep their places from United's 1-1 draw with Southampton.
