Arsenal fans know what it feels like to have a star striker leave for Manchester United.

But this doesn’t depict where Aubameyang's shots mainly come from.

That’s what Robin van Persie famously did back in the summer of 2012 and Gooners have never forgiven him for it.

Ighalo is averaging 1.85 shots per game, per WhoScored, for United, while Aubameyang is averaging 2.5 for Arsenal.

More recently, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been linked with a switch to Old Trafford with the Gabon international’s Arsenal future up in the air.

It’s a situation that isn’t entirely dissimilar to the one that resulted in Van Persie becoming a United player.

Of course, a move to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s United certainly wouldn’t come with the guarantee of silverware that Van Persie’s move to Sir Alex Ferguson’s side did, but presuming Aubameyang is keen on a switch where would he fit in at Old Trafford?
