Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes Barcelona have all the ingredients required to win the Champions League and feels Manchester United were handed the toughest possible draw.

The Red Devils exited Europe on Tuesday night in Camp Nou after another Lionel Messi masterclass, with the Argentine scoring twice in four minutes before Phillipe Coutinho added a stunning third goal in the second half to seal a 3-0 win.

Barca are likely to face Liverpool next after the Merseysiders secured a two-goal advantage over Porto, and Solskjaer has named the Catalans as his favourites to win the competition.

Asked if Barca can go all the way, Solskjaer said: 'I think Barcelona, with the quality they've got, with the front three they've got - and even Dembele and Malcom, players there to put on - I wouldn't bet against them, even though I don't bet!

United started Tuesday's match well, ripping through Barca's defence in the first minute as Marcus Rashford smashed the bar, though the Norwegian felt the Spanish side's class won out in the end.

'We started well and then in four minutes they scored two goals.

The attitude was right second half, we got out there, we knew we were fighting against a good team and good players out there.
