Manchester United will be without Anthony Martial for ‘a little while’ after he picked up a fresh injury in Sunday’s 2-2 draw against Aston Villa, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed.
The Frenchman, who has scored three times in the Premier League this season, was subbed off after 82 minutes at the weekend and now misses Wednesday’s clash against Tottenham Hotspur.
Martial missed a chunk of the season at the start of the campaign with a hamstring problem, and Solskjaer says he will be out of action for a spell once again.

Asked about Martial’s absence from the squad to face Spurs, Solskjaer told MUTV: ‘Anthony got a slight injury on Sunday so he’ll be out for a little while.’
There was better news for United, though, with Scott McTominay returning to the starting XI for the visit of Spurs and Solskjaer says it was a no-brainer to put him straight back into the side.

‘We’ve got exciting forwards, hopefully we can create chances for them. I’ve been waiting to see Mason Greenwood in the Premier League – it’s a big stage against a big team but I’m sure he’s ready.’
On the return of Jose Mourinho to Old Trafford, Solskjaer added bluntly: ‘It’s a normal game. He’s not on the pitch, neither am I.’
