Paris Saint-Germain manager Thomas Tuchel is keen for striker Edinson Cavani to stay at the Parc des Princes.

Cavani, who has been at the Ligue 1 club for six-and-a-half years, has struggled for game time this season and is currently nursing an injury.

The setback saw him miss PSG's 4-1 victory over Monaco on Wednesday night and Tuchel spoke of Cavani's future following the match.

'If there can be departures and arrivals in the group? It's still possible in football, I can't say,' Tuchel told Canal+.

He felt something in training and he couldn't be there.

The Uruguay international's current deal at PSG expires in the summer and he has made just six starts this season.

Cavani's 2019-20 campaign has been hindered by injuries as Kylian Mbappe, Neymar and Mauro Icardi have starred in attack.
