Paris Saint-Germain are planning a summer approach for Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson.

French giants PSG have joined Chelsea, Tottenham and Sheffield United in keeping a close eye on United's intentions for Henderson beyond this season.

The mounting interest in the 22 year-old has added to the Old Trafford club's dilemma.

Paris Saint-Germain are keen to sign Manchester United keeper Dean Henderson this summer

Henderson has pushed his claims for a return to United, who view him as a future No 1, as well as a place in England's Euro 2020 squad during an impressive second season-long loan at Sheffield United.

But standing in his way is United's current first choice goalkeeper David De Gea who signed a new contract last summer that will run until 2023 at least.

His suitors are now circling to see if they can take advantage of the situation and prise him away from his boyhood club. PSG have identified Henderson as they look to evolve their squad by bringing in younger players.

Chelsea want a new challenger for their No.1 position admit doubts over Kepa Arrizabalaga, a world record £72m signing in 2018, who has struggled to convince at Stamford Bridge and been dropped for their last two games.

Spurs, meanwhile, are also preparing for changes in their goalkeeping department this summer. They are currently planning to bring in a new backup keeper with Michel Vorm due to leave when his short-term deal expires at the end of the season.

Though with captain Hugo Lloris aged 33 Henderson would represent a long-term successor. Sheffield United boss, Chris Wilder, meanwhile has been open about his hopes of re-signing Henderson for another campaign next season.
