Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba would like a return to Juventus this summer, according to his agent, Mino Raiola.

The Frenchman is widely expected to leave Old Trafford at the end of the season after failing to secure an exit last summer, despite making his intentions clear that he wanted a move.

The Red Devils kept hold of the 26-year-old, despite serious interest from Real Madrid, but he has endured an injury-plagued season ever since, making just five Premier League starts.

United are expected to allow Pogba to move on in the summer, with Madrid considered his most likely destination, but Raiola says a return to Turin is also a possibility.

‘Pogba feels at home in Italy. Italy is like his second home or family, same for [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic. That’s why Paul would like to come back to Juventus,’ Raiola told reporters in Italy on Tuesday.

‘But we’ll go to speak about that just after Euro 2020. Pogba wants to play at the best levels always…but he can’t escape Manchester United now, in this moment where the club is not having a good period.’

Pogba joined Juventus from Manchester United in 2012 and enjoyed an extremely successful time in Italy, winning four Serie A titles and two Coppa Italias.

The World Cup winner returned to Old Trafford in 2016 for £89.3m and United would want to recoup the vast majority of that if he does move on this summer.

The Red Devils have placed an asking price of £83m on the midfielder and are unlikely to budge on it, which could put off his potential suitors.

Both Juventus and Real Madrid would like to add Pogba to their ranks, but will be looking to drive the price down if they can.

Pogba’s contract at Manchester United expires at the end of next season, although the club have an option to extend it for a further year.
