Eight games into the Premier League season and there is plenty going on at Manchester United - Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has lots to think about during the international break.

The cut off point for a one-game suspension for five yellow cards is December 31, although players who accumulate 10 yellow cards in Premier League matches up to and including their team's 32nd fixture of the season will serve a two-match suspension in the competition.

Premier League regulations state that any player who picks up five bookings in the first 19 Premier League matches of the season will have to serve a one-match ban, which only applies to league matches.

So far, Crystal Palace's Luka Milivojevic is the only Premier League player to have been issued a one-game suspension this season for accumulating five yellow cards - but five other players in the league are sat on four.

At Manchester United, Jesse Lingard and Aaron Wan-Bissaka have been booked twice this season, so are still some way off earning a suspension but will be at risk in the coming months.

Andreas Pereira, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire, Anthony Martial, Juan Mata, Scott McTominay, Fred and Marcos Rojo have all had their name taken by referees once this term.

Manchester United currently have Daniel James and Ashley Young with three bookings each, which could see the pair earn a suspension in the next few weeks if they are booked against Liverpool and Norwich.
