Tottenham have been warned they risk dropping down the Premier League unless they start playing more positive football, after Jose Mourinho’s men drew 1-1 with Fulham on Wednesday night.
But former Spurs and Chelsea defender Cundy believes the manager’s negative tactics are coming back to bite his old club, admitting he’s NEVER seen the manager play more defensively.
“I don’t think he trusts his defence.
Spurs have now dropped ten points from winning positions this season, with Harry Kane’s first-half goal cancelled out by Ivan Cavaleiro’s header after the break.
“But Palace, Wolves and now Fulham – that’s nine points there they should have won.
“Again, I think this tells you a little bit more about Gareth Bale at Spurs at the moment, there’s something not quite right.
“OK he didn’t start the game, fine, I know he’s had injuries, but come on, isn’t this the type of game where you bring a player in from Real Madrid to change?
