This has coincided with continued efforts internally, being led by the club’s Pride Network. This work was recognised by the LGBT+ inclusion organisation OUTstanding, who named Group Managing Director Richard Arnold as one of its Top 50 LGBT+ Executive Allies for the third year running.
Ahead of Wednesday’s kick-off against Tottenham, United’s players will line up in front of dedicated rainbow branding, which will also be seen on plinths and the substitutions board.
Dedicated LED pitch-side messages will be on show at Old Trafford during the game, while our club social channels will adopt a rainbow theme; an icon commonly shared within the LGBT+ community.
At Manchester United Women’s game against Everton Women, taking place at Leigh Sports Village on Sunday, players and supporters will also add their backing to the campaign.
