The video will start in 8 Cancel The future of Barcelona's Philippe Coutinho continues to be a hot topic ahead of the summer transfer window.

Coutinho, who featured against United last week in the Champions League, could fit in at Old Trafford as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer plans a major summer rebuild at the club.

Spanish publication Sport suggest that Coutinho won't want to 'betray his former supporters' and he doesn't think United fans will 'forgive his Liverpool past.

The 26-year-old joined Barca in a dream transfer from Liverpool back in January 2019 as he became the club's all-time expensive player.

Coutinho was booed during the Champions League game last week and that reception appears to have convinced him not to move to United in the summer.

Manchester United have continually been linked with the Brazilian who has struggled to settle at the Nou Camp.

But it's been a tough year and a half for Coutinho in Spain and he could be set to leave when the window opens as he weighs up his options.
